Teaching Students How To Succeed

An interesting and useful book called “ The Essential 55” written by Ron Clark provides me many tips about teaching students how to succeed. Ron Clark explains why every tip is important for him with his personal experiences. Although there are many tips in the book, not all of them are useful tips as some of them are personal and extreme. For example, “Do not bring Doritos into the school building”(131-134). It doesn’t make sense to anyone except the author, Mr.Clark. However, there are few really good tips. “Making eye contact” and “Be the best person you can be”(2-6, 158-159). He points out that making eye contact when you talk is really important because it shows confident. A person’s success really depends on that person. If you are a genius but are lazy and don’t like to do anything, you are not going to be the best you can be in future. Nowadays, there are more schools and better technology, but that doesn’t mean that a person can succeed without working hard. If you want to know all the tips that Ron Clark gives in order to succeed, you’ll have to read the book!

A good video clip that listed out many tips from the book
