Shakespeare’s Influence

The most important piece of biographical information from William Shakespeare’s life must have been his childhood exposure to plays.  He was raised in a small country town and his first experience was his parents taking him to the comedic biblical reenactments that traveled around England.  These plays were calles the Mystery Plays and gave Shakespeare inspiration to include witty jokes about religion in his plays.  Without his education and knowledge of the performing arts it would be doubtful that there would have been a future for him in the growing business of acting.
