Our Protocol for Peer Review: Praise, Question, and Polish

peerreviewAs one of the most essential parts of Project Based Learning is sharing what you learn, we must reflect on each other’s work in a useful and kind way. This thoughtful approach will create a more positive and productive learning environment. We’ll follow these steps when a team member contributes a minor or major presentation. We can also follow these three essential steps when we comment on each other’s blog posts. To start, let’s have everyone make at least one sentence for praising the work, one sentence for poising a question, and one sentence for suggesting how to polish the ideas. Feel free to write more than this amount; we’ll use this amount for our first round and evaluate how it went on Saturday morning.
