Keep to the Original

These! Paper! Bullets! Yale Repertory TheatreThe play we saw on April 2nd, called These Paper Bullets, a modified version of   by William Shakespeare, was very well performed and the events were fairly similar to the actual play written by Shakespeare. For example, during the wedding scene in the movie Claude humiliates Higgy in front of everyone and this was the same in the book, but with slightly different names, Claudio and Hero. He denounces how she has cheated on him with another man and makes a huge scene before her close friends and family. The audience and readers knows it is all a set up by Don Pedro and accomplices, but Claude/ Claudio do not at the time. In all, the play does a very nice job of trying to keep to the original book with putting the 60s twist that was incorporated throughout the play.
