Timeless Plots

I am intrigued by Shakespeare’s timeless plots. His play rights have compelling stories that capture many relevant problems of our era. He writes about strong female characters and a wide range of human emotions. Shakespeare’s plays never seem out of date. Even to this day writers are still using similar plots and characters to Shakespearian plays. It is amazing how movies that mirror works of Shakespeare are still amusing to people now a day. The movie 10 Things I Hate About You is parallel to Taming of the Shrew. They both have extremely similar plots. It is remarkable how a piece of work from the Elizabethan era has the same humor as a movie produced in 1999. It is also incredible how Shakespeare brings about at idea of women’s rights, which is still even a struggle to this day. Shakespeare’s plays have always been successful because his storylines are still relevant to humans today.
