Which Version is Better?

In the book we see how Beatrice and benedict react to seeing each other for the first time in the play. In the movie a much similar except Beatrice and Benedict are alone when they have their conversation in private with no one around. I think that the book does a much better job simply because you can envision in your head what is being said instead of having the characters there for you to see. The movie also is very different in nature and like in many movies, the viewer might be disappointed in the way the movie plays out the scenes. In the movie Beatrice seems less witted then in the book. She still has a strong personality but is much more likable then in the book. Unknown-1
