Suffield Historical Society Program: Iroquois Impact

lrl grndentrycroppedThe Suffield Historical Society will meet on Wednesday, October 14 at the Suffield Senior Center at 7 p.m. and will welcome Suffield resident Luis Lee as speaker for the evening.  Dressed in his full Seneca regalia, Guin Yah Geyh (his native American name, which is a clan name meaning Something from the clouds) will give the Society a history of the Iroquois and their contributions to American history in this area. His presentation will include the Great Thanksgiving that is spoken before every ceremony. The public is cordially invited to attend this interesting presentation.
